We headed over to Seward after panning for gold, to see Exit Glacier. It has been 20+ years since I first saw it and I was really shocked at how much it had receded.

From a ways back.

You can see a cave where the water has etched away at the underside.

Claire, John & Bryan in front of the glacier at the end of the hiking trail.

All along the trail and drive in are these signs that show the process of glacial melt and recession.

When we finished our hike we drove into and around Seward.

Panoramic of Resurrection Bay at Seward.

John digging on sloughed off bluff.

We were about halfway up…

Long ways down.

Bryan took pictures of the beautiful sunrise.

Kachemak Bay, Halibut Cove.

Cletus fishing, she caught a shark.

John’s big halibut.

We got to watch Greenbay play football.

And drink margaritas.

On my Semester’s birthday we went for cake and Mexican food.

She got two desserts.

Seester time.

On the drive down fro. Anchorage, first day here.

Have had the most wonderful visit with  my Seester, John & Bryan. But today is my last day. We have had so much fun.

It has been too quiet around here. Since I got dunked in the inlet while fishing in June, lost my phone to the salt water’s powers, and no  WordPress app, I haven’t posted much.

So now, new phone and preparing to launch epic posts. Prepare yourselves…
